In Astro Boy: Omega Factor, players control Astro as he flies and fights through side-scrolling stages. A crucial progression mechanic is the Omega Factor: players must interact with and discover various characters from Osamu Tezuka's universe to unlock and upgrade Astro's stats, such as health, punch power, and laser strength.
