Focus on balancing physical attacks with magic spells to exploit enemy weaknesses. Keep Sanzo protected, as their defeat results in an immediate game over. Utilize Guardian Summons for powerful field-wide effects, and visit towns between battles to upgrade equipment, purchase items, and recruit new party members to strengthen your pilgrimage.
