A wanted level system dictates police response; stars will appear on-screen as you commit crimes, leading to increased pursuit. To lower your wanted level, you can find and use bribe icons hidden throughout the city or simply evade the police long enough for them to lose your trail. The open world is your playground, and exploring it to find better vehicles and weapon pickups is key to success. In the early game, focus on simpler missions to build your cash reserves. As you progress, missions become more complex, requiring careful planning and the use of heavy weaponry. During tense moments, such as high-speed chases, prioritize evasion and use the city's layout—like narrow alleys—to break the line of sight with pursuing law enforcement.
