In Tom and Jerry in Fists of Furry, your main goal is to defeat your opponent by depleting their health bar using a variety of attacks and items found in the stage. Each match takes place in a dynamic arena filled with interactive objects you can pick up and throw, such as mousetraps, bowling balls, and exploding dynamite. You control your character with the analog stick to move around the arena, using the A and B buttons for different strength punches and kicks. The C buttons are used for special moves unique to each character, like Jerry's high-speed spin attack or Tom's powerful uppercut. A key strategy is to learn the timing and range of your character's moves while also keeping an eye out for powerful items that can turn the tide of battle. The challenge comes from reading your opponent's movements and effectively using the environment to your advantage. Early in a match, focus on learning the stage layout and item spawn points. As the fight intensifies, concentrate on landing combos and avoiding your opponent's most damaging attacks. During tense moments, a well-timed block or a grab can create an opening for a decisive counter-attack.
