A key beginner strategy is to focus on maintaining possession rather than attempting risky long passes, which are easily intercepted. In the early part of a match, focus on learning your opponent's tactics. During tense moments, such as defending a lead, prioritize clearing the ball to safety and managing your stamina by not holding the sprint button constantly.
