Your primary objective is to win soccer matches by outscoring your opponent. You control one player at a time, using the directional pad to move and face buttons to pass, shoot, and sprint. Build attacks by passing the ball between teammates to create openings in the defense. When near the opponent's goal, time your shot carefully, as power and direction are crucial for scoring. On defense, switch between players to apply pressure, tackle to win possession, and use the goalkeeper to make saves. A key beginner strategy is to focus on maintaining possession rather than attempting risky long passes, which are easily intercepted. In the early part of a match, focus on learning your opponent's tactics. During tense moments, such as defending a lead, prioritize clearing the ball to safety and managing your stamina by not holding the sprint button constantly.
