In Populous, you play as a god overseeing a tribe of followers on an isometric landscape. Your objective is to grow your population while destroying the opposing tribe controlled by the computer. As your population grows, you gain more mana to cast powerful spells like earthquakes, volcanoes, and swamps to disrupt your enemy's development.
