The touch screen acts as Kirby's stomach, allowing you to store and combine abilities or use items like health restoratives by dragging them to the main screen. A useful beginner strategy is to experiment with ability combinations to discover powerful new attacks, and to frequently check the bottom screen for useful items. The challenge rhythm involves platforming through themed worlds, battling mid-bosses, and facing off against the Squeak Squad members at the end of each world. In the early game, focus on mastering Kirby's basic moves and copying a versatile ability. During tense moments, such as boss fights, prioritize dodging attacks and using your most effective copied power to exploit weaknesses.
