Your goal in Pokémon Crystal is to become the Pokémon League Champion by traveling across the Johto and Kanto regions, capturing and training Pokémon, and defeating eight Gym Leaders to earn badges. A key early strategy is to build a balanced team with a variety of types to exploit enemy weaknesses. As you progress, you'll need to manage your team's health and status conditions, solve environmental puzzles, and confront the mysterious Team Rocket. The game's rhythm involves exploration, trainer battles for experience, and periodic major boss fights at Gyms. In tense moments, such as battling the Elite Four, careful type matchups and keeping healing items ready are crucial for success.
