In Detana!! TwinBee, you pilot a small flying ship through vertically scrolling stages, shooting down enemy aircraft and ground targets. Your main weapon is a rapid-fire shot, but the core mechanic involves shooting floating bells that appear from clouds. Hitting a bell changes its color, and collecting it grants different power-ups: blue increases shot speed, red adds options (floating satellites that mirror your shots), and green provides a shield. You can also perform a ground slam attack by pressing down and the shot button to damage enemies below. The objective is to survive through multiple stages, defeating mid-bosses and end-level bosses while avoiding enemy fire and obstacles. As a beginner, focus on memorizing bell locations and colors to prioritize shields and options early. During tense moments, use the ground slam to clear a path and stay mobile to dodge bullet patterns.
