You control Sonic or Blaze, using the D-pad to run and the A button to jump. The bottom screen displays your boost gauge, which fills as you perform tricks in mid-air; once full, you can unleash a temporary speed burst. A key beginner strategy is to balance speed with careful platforming—rushing blindly can lead to falling into pits or missing crucial rings. The challenge rhythm is fast and fluid, with levels demanding quick reflexes to dodge obstacles and defeat bosses. Early on, focus on learning each character's unique abilities; Sonic has a longer boost, while Blaze can double jump. In tense moments, like boss fights, watch for attack patterns and use your boost strategically to avoid damage and counterattack.
