Moment-to-moment play involves navigating urban wastelands, aiming your main cannon, and using secondary weapons like missiles and special power-ups. A key beginner strategy is to master the strafing movement to circle-strafe opponents while keeping your frontal armor facing their fire. The challenge rhythm is fast-paced, with waves of enemy tanks, helicopters, and infantry attacking from all directions. In the early moments of a run, focus on scavenging for weapon crates to upgrade your arsenal. During the middle of a mission, prioritize destroying key targets like communication towers or enemy bases to weaken their forces. In tense moments, use your limited supply of Quake missiles or activate shield power-ups to survive overwhelming assaults and turn the tide of battle.
