Your goal is to guide Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong through various levels to reclaim their stolen bananas. You run, jump, and roll to defeat enemies and navigate obstacles. The game is played from left to right, with each level containing hidden bonus areas, collectible items like balloons and letters spelling K-O-N-G, and animal buddies that grant special abilities. In the early stages, focus on learning the basic controls: use the jump button to leap over pits and enemies, and the roll move to attack foes and gain speed. Collect bananas for extra lives and find hidden barrels to access bonus stages for additional points. As you progress, the levels become more complex with minecart rides, underwater sections, and tricky platforming sequences. Pay close attention to enemy patterns and environmental hazards. In tense moments, such as boss fights, study the boss's attack patterns and strike when they are vulnerable.
