Your goal is to guide Jerry through each level while avoiding Tom and other hazards. You control Jerry's movement with the D-pad and can jump to navigate platforms. Collect cheese pieces scattered throughout the levels to earn points and power-ups. The game features a health system where Jerry can take multiple hits before losing a life. Each level presents environmental puzzles where you must figure out how to progress while Tom patrols the area. In the early stages, focus on learning the level layouts and Tom's movement patterns. As you advance, you'll encounter more complex platforming challenges and additional enemies. During tense moments when Tom is chasing you, use quick jumps and environmental elements to create distance. The game requires careful timing and strategic movement rather than direct combat, emphasizing the classic cat-and-mouse dynamic of the source material.
