Your primary goal is to guide Yoshi through vibrant, scrolling levels, carrying a baby on your back. Each baby—Mario, Peach, Donkey Kong, Wario, or Bowser—grants Yoshi a unique ability, such as floating, ground-pounding, or breathing fire, which you must use to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies. You navigate by running, jumping, and using Yoshi's signature flutter jump and egg-throwing mechanics. Eggs, created by swallowing enemies, are your main tool for hitting distant targets and collecting items. The game features a life system, so avoid taking damage to prevent your carried baby from floating away in a bubble, which you must quickly retrieve before a timer runs out.
