Super Double Dragon is a side-scrolling beat 'em up where your goal is to fight through waves of enemies across multiple urban stages. You control either Billy or Jimmy Lee, moving from left to right, using punches, kicks, and special attacks to defeat gang members. You can also perform jump kicks, grapple enemies, and use weapons like knives and bats dropped by foes. In the early stages, focus on mastering the timing of your block and learning enemy attack patterns. As you progress, the game introduces stronger enemies and environmental hazards, requiring you to use hit-and-run tactics and crowd control. During tense moments, especially against bosses, prioritize blocking and waiting for openings to land powerful combos.
