Android Assault is a side-scrolling shooter where you pilot the Buster, a transforming mecha that can switch between a fast-moving jet and a powerful ground-based robot. Your objective is to defeat enemy forces across multiple stages while avoiding their attacks. The jet form allows for quick movement and aerial attacks, while the robot form provides stronger firepower and the ability to withstand more damage. Collect power-ups to enhance your weapons, including spread shots and homing missiles, which are essential for dealing with the increasing enemy numbers and challenging bosses. In the early stages, focus on learning the enemy patterns and mastering the transformation mechanic to navigate different terrain effectively. As you progress, the game introduces more complex enemy formations and environmental hazards, requiring precise movement and strategic use of your weapons. During tense moments, such as boss fights, prioritize dodging attacks while consistently dealing damage, and use the robot form's durability to survive heavy fire.
