You primarily use a sword for close combat and shurikens for ranged attacks. A key mechanic is the ability to perform special ninjutsu magic attacks by collecting scrolls, which can clear the screen of enemies or inflict massive damage on bosses. Each level culminates in a challenging boss fight that requires pattern recognition and quick reflexes.
