In Snow Bros. 2, you control an elf character who must clear each single-screen stage of all enemies. Your primary attack is to shoot snow at monsters, which gradually builds up a snow covering on them. Once an enemy is completely covered, it turns into a large snowball. You can then push this snowball to roll it across the platform. If the snowball hits other enemies or obstacles, it will burst and eliminate any foes it touches, often creating chain reactions. The core objective is to eliminate every enemy on the stage to proceed. Each character can also collect power-ups that temporarily enhance their snow-shooting speed or range. The game features a cooperative two-player mode where both elves can work together to trap enemies more efficiently. The challenge escalates as later stages introduce faster, more aggressive monsters and complex platform layouts. Focus on trapping enemies near walls or in corners to make rolling the snowballs more effective for clearing multiple targets. In tense moments, prioritize creating large snowball chain reactions to quickly clear the screen and avoid being cornered.
